Johnny Henry Pearson Jr. died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.

He was a 1985 graduate of Scott's Branch High School in Summerton, and was presently employed at Santee Automotive as a sales representative. He was a member of Macedonia Fire Baptized Holiness Church in the Silver community of Clarendon County, where he served on the trustee board, finance committee and usher board. The Rev. Ethel W. Sweat is the host pastor.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa C. Pearson of the home; two sons, Da'Shaun Pearson of the home and Keith Pearson of Columbia; his mother and stepfather, Dorothy and Ernest Walker of Manning; a sister, Maxine Pearson; three stepsisters, Joycette (Warren) Lewis, Barberette (Craig) Washington and Earnestine (Chris) Chavarri; four aunts; three uncles; and four godchildren.

A public viewing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2015, at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Johnny Henry Pearson Jr. will be held 4 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, at the Clarendon School District 1 Community Resource Center, the former Scott's Branch Middle School, 1154 Fourth St. in Summerton, with Elder Keith J. Smith Sr. presiding, the Rev. Annie L. Riley as eulogist, and the Rev. Jonathan Anderson, the Rev. Ethereleen Bethune and the Rev. Susan Wilson assisting.

Burial for Johnny Henry Pearson Jr. will follow in the Macedonia FBH Church cemetery in Silver.

The family will receive friends at the home, 1055 Peacock St. in Manning.
