ALCOLU - Paul Edward Beaufort, 68, husband of Frances Hickman Beaufort, died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born April 30, 1946, in Greeleyville, "Buzzard" was a son of the late Nelson Beaufort and Tina Epps Beaufort.
He attended Pleasant Grove School in Clarendon County. .
was employed with Durant Brothers Farm for many years. In his youth, he joined Harmony Presbyterian Church in Alcolu
Survivors besides his wife include three children, Robin Beaufort, Mary Ann Brown and Bobbie Hickman, all of Alcolu; four sisters, Ida Watson, Ella Mae Lawton and Perlie Mae Beaufort, all of Manhattan, N.Y., and Lillie Singleton of Lake City; two brothers, Henry Beaufort of Alcolu and Richard Beaufort of Deerfield, Florida; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A public viewing for Paul Edward Beaufort will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015, at the funeral home.
Funeral services for Paul Edward Beaufort will be held Friday, April 3, 2015, at Harmony Presbyterian Church (USA), 8883 U.S. 301 North in Alcolu. The Rev. Dr. Franklin D. Colclough Sr. will serve as moderator.
Burial will be in Big Springs Cemetery in Greeleyville.
He will lie in repose an hour prior to funeral time.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1397 Robert Reese-Durant Road in Alcolu Home LLC of Manning.
