SUMMERTON - Diana Jean Gantz Nastari, 65, was called home Tuesday, March 31, 2015, while in McLeod Regional Medical Center.
Born September 4, 1949, in Salem, OH, she was a daughter of Betty Lenora Thompson Gantz Morford and the late Donald Eugene Gantz. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Charles R. Morford of Summerton; three sons, Samuel Lewis Nastari II (Susan) and Daniel Joseph Nastari, Jr. (Terry Lee) both of Alliance, OH, and Matthew Luke Nastari (Sarah) of Lisbon, OH; a daughter, Elizabeth Angelina Gantz Conway (Michael) of Bardstown, KY; a brother, Ronald D. Gantz of Irvine, KY; two stepbrothers, Gregory A. Cope (Diane) of Virginia Beach, VA and Charles E. Cope (Elizabeth) of Agoura Hills, CA; seven grandchildren; an uncle, Denver Thompson (Adel) of Dublin, GA; an aunt, Edna Behner (Don) of Salem, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at the Hope Cemetery Chapel, Salem, OH, and her ashes will be interred on her father's grave with Stark Funeral Home handling the service.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorials be made to the Summerton Presbyterian Church, 15 S. Cantey Street, Summerton, SC 29148.
