A 40-year-old man with property on Brewer Road near Mallett Road in Manning told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office about 1:16 p.m. March 17 that someone came on his property – which has pine trees – and took pine straw valued at about $400. He said he had last visited the property about 8 a.m. Feb. 21.
