Ruby Lee Richburg Brown, 84, widow of Arthur Lee Brown, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, at Woodruff Manor in Woodruff.
Born in the Bloomville community of Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late William Arthur Richburg and Janie Gertrude Ridgeway Richburg. Mrs. Brown was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley Arthur Brown (Chhunlay) of Boiling Springs and Kenneth Bethea Brown (Jacki) of Sumter; a brother, Charles Olden Richburg of Alcolu; a sister, Jewel Lowder of Alcolu; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William A. Richburg Jr. and Edward Richburg.
Funeral services for Ruby Lee Richburg Brown will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Robert Rivers and the Rev. Kevin Massey officiating. Burial will be in the Sumter Cemetery.
Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
