The 36th annual Striped Bass Festival will be here before you know it.
Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce past president Ryan Way thanked several chamber supporters Tuesday night for their help with last year's festival as planning is well underway for this year's festivities.
This year's celebration of the Striped Bass is slated to be held the weekend of April 24-26, Way said during a dinner at John Bassard Pond House.
The pageant will be held the weekend before, as will the poker run. On April 24, chamber sponsors will be honored at Land, Parker & Welch.
McDonald's will once again be the corporate sponsor, Way said.
"Everything seems to be moving right along," he said.
