SUMMERTON - Paul Francis Erickson, 90, husband of Donna Jean Racha Erickson, died Sunday, February 15, 2015, at his residence.
Born November 27, 1924, in Syracuse, N.Y., he was a son of the late Carl John Erickson and Pearl Hemmingway Erickson. He was a member of Clarendon Baptist Church, also attending Seacoast Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors besides his wife of Summerton include five daughters, April Bryant-Taylor (Chris) of Prentiss, Mississippi, Paula Snyder (Michael) of Alcolu, Faith Rivera (Jose) of Savannah, Georgia, Jerry Kenyon of Dawsonville, Georgia and Christine Overbaugh of Brewerton, N.Y.; two sons, Leif Erickson (Heidi) of Italy and Marshall Blount of Lafayette, N.Y.; 24 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law, George Overbaugh of New York.
Paul Francis Erickson was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Frances Overbaugh.
A memorial service for Paul Francis Erickson will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Seacoast House, 201 N. Church St. in Manning, with the Rev. Jim Fleming officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
