A 55-inch TV and an X-box game system, together valued at $1,075, were reportedly stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Old Manning Road in New Zion between 6:30 a.m. and 5:56 p.m. Jan. 20. The 23-year-old resident of the home told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office that someone entered the home through a back window. Deputies reported that the window was completely open, but that the blinds and curtains were not disturbed, that chairs in front of the window had not been moved, and dirt and dust on the outside of the window and sill had not been disturbed. The ground outside the window was soft, and had no signs of footwear impressions. The front door had not been disturbed and a back door is secure and could not be opened.
