A man living in the 1400 block of Diles Bay Road in Turbeville told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office about 6:15 p.m. Jan. 17 that someone attempted to break into his home using unknown tools. The unknown suspect also made entry into the man's outside shed, he told deputies. Reports indicate no entry was made to the home, and that about $200 in damages were done to the door. Cpl. Henry McFadden Jr. advised the man to invest in an alarm system, and put his home on the property check list.
