A 71-year-old woman living in the 2000 block of Chewning Road in Pinewood told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office about 4:34 p.m. Jan. 20 that unknown persons made entry into her home and threw clothes all out of dressers and took her husband's piggy bank, which had an unknown amount of money, sometime between 3:04 p.m. that day and the time of her complaint. The woman said the couple came home and noticed glass in the side door shattered and the door opened. The woman said her husband walked through the home to make sure no one else was there. Deputies spoke to neighbors, who reported seeing two black males around the home. One was described as being 5-foot-9-inches and 180 pounds with light skin, while the other was reportedly 5-foot-7 and between 145-150 pounds and with dark skin. The men reportedly had two dogs with them.
