A 45-year-old man living in the 9800 block of Salem Road in New Zion told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office about 9:10 a.m. Jan. 18 that someone put deep scratches in both sides of his gold 2007 Cadillac Escalade, including all the doors and rear hatches causing about $3,500 in damages. The man said he parked the vehicle in his yard about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 17, and it was fine at the time.
