Medication stolen from Sweet Pea Lane home

A 61-year-old man living in the 1100 block of Sweet Pea Lane in Manning told deputies with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office about 9 a.m. Jan. 7 that someone entered his home between 4 a.m. that day and the time of his complaint and took $150 worth of medication he had hidden under the edge of his bed. The medications were described as blood pressure pills, Dilata for seizures and Xanax and Ambien. The man said he'd just had the prescriptions filled. Deputy 1st Class Casey Barrineau wrote in a report that there were no signs of forced entry into the home, and that no other items in the home were taken.
