John Joseph Mastrangelo Jr., 76, husband of Joyce Hansen Mastrangelo, died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born June 17, 1938, in Staten Island, NY, Johnny was a son of the late John Joseph Mastrangelo Sr. and Angelina DeAngelo DeMartino. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, a member of the Elks Lodge in Sumter and worked at The Palms at Wyboo Restaurant as a janitorial engineer.
Survivors besides his wife of Manning include three sons, John Joseph Mastrangelo III (Gilda) of Jackson, N.J., David Charles Mastrangelo (Eileen) of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., and James Kennedy Mastrangelo of Manning; a daughter, Dawn Marie Mastrangelo of Charlotte, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandsons.
Services for John Joseph Mastrangelo Jr. will be held privately.
