Greensboro, N.C. - Pauline Brown Holloway, 99, widow of Dr. Charles T. Holloway, died Christmas morning, Dec. 25, 2014, at Hospice of Alamance County in Burlington, N.C.
Born in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Clarence O'Neal Brown and Lydia Elliott Brown.
Celebratory services for Pauline Brown Holloway will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2015, at Mt. Zion AME Church, 5 Glebe St. in Charleston, with the Rev. John Brown, pastor, officiating.
Mrs. Holloway will lie in repose for an hour prior to services.
Burial will follow in Friendly Cemetery in North Charleston
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister, Thelma B. Sumpter, 193 Smith St. in Charleston.
Services for Pauline Brown Holloway have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
