Manning woman shoplifts $50 worth of merchandise from store

An employee with a store in the 2000 block of Paxville Highway told the Manning Police Department about 4:15 p.m. Dec. 14 that a 20-year-old woman and an unknown male took about $50 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it. The pair were last seen in the pet section of the store, the employee told police. According to reports, the woman was identified from surveillance video and described as a 20-year-old white female, about 5-feet-4-inches and 165 pounds. The police know the woman's identity and advised the store to seek warrants.
