Clarendon County firefighters joined together Dec. 16 to honor Chief Frances Richbourg for her 35 years of service to the department. She has spent 13 years as the chief of the department.
Typically at the Firefighters' Banquet, firefighters recognize a Rookie of the Year, Firefighter of the Year and a new Hall of Fame inductee. Richbourg was a surprise left for last, and she was also inducted into the Hall of Fame.
