A 33-year-old Manning woman was arrested about 10:40 p.m. Dec. 6 on Boyce Street in Manning and charged with driving under suspension, providing false information to a police officer, possession of a controlled substance and being a habitual offender after a traffic stop. Cpl. W.B. Secrist II reportedly stopped Wilson after noticing that her license plate wasn't illuminated. He saw something yellow in Daisy Miller Wilson's mouth, and told her to spit it out. Wilson, of 173 Old Foreston Road, spit out three pills believed to be pain medication. Wilson gave a false name and birthday three times, according to reports. Dispatch told Secrist that Wilson had several prior DUS convictions and was labeled a habitual offender.
