Valva Iris Kennedy of 821 Santee Road in Santee was arrested and charged with shoplifting about 6:40 p.m. Nov. 23 after allegedly taking $426 worth of merchandise from the Manning Walmart.
According to reports, an employee told police Kennedy was attempting to leave the store without showing the exit employee a receipt for the items in her cart. They followed the woman to the parking lot, and she released the cart and wouldn't stop.
