A 25-year-old Manning man was issued a no trespassing notice by the Manning Police Department about 11:34 a.m. Nov. 14 after allegedly stealing a 24-ounce Mountain Dew from a store in the first block of Sunset Drive in Manning. According to reports, the soda - valued at $1.69 - was reportedly in the suspect's right pants pocket at the time police responded. Sgt. Alexander Dukes had prior dealings with the suspect, who allegedly has some problems and takes medication. A woman with him paid for the drink and he was issued the notice.
