The Laurence Manning Academy cheerleaders worked on signs last week for the South Carolina Independent School Association AAA State Championships, which LMA played against the Hammond Skyhawks on Saturday night. LMA fell to Hammond 17-0, but it was the team's first time at state since 1997. Head Coach Robbie Briggs said it is the beginning, not the end for the team.
