Manning High School Principal Neshunda Walters said Friday she is pleased with the high school's advancement in its report card score under the federal Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965. Report cards were released Oct. 22, with Clarendon School District 2 receiving an overall 73.6 (C). A C, under the state's guidelines, means the district's "performance met the state's expectations." Overall, the high school received a B. "This is a great improvement from an F the past few years," Walters said. "I'm really proud of the progress we've made, and I think the community could use some good news."
