Melissa Grice, mother of the late Millicent McDonald, is asking folks to sign a petition to require breathalyzers on the lake after watercraft accidents.
She is doing this in memory of her daughter, who died in May after a jet-ski collision with another man who has now been charged with reckless homicide by watercraft.
“I can’t give my daughter anything for her birthday, so all I can do is get this petition going that asks for a law to be put in place requiring (the state Department of Natural Resources) to give a breathalyzer after a watercraft incident,” Grice said.
