GREELEYVILLE – Bobbie Jean McKnight Smith, 75, wife of James Walter Smith Sr., died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at the home of her granddaughter.
Born July 13, 1939, in Greeleyville, she was the daughter of the late Chesley A. McKnight and Lena Odessa Tisdale McKnight. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Salters.
She is survived by her husband of Greeleyville; a daughter, Bobbie Lynn Smith of Greeleyville; a stepson, James Walter Smith, Jr. of Myrtle Beach; a stepdaughter, Pamela Folk (Steve) of Columbia; a brother, Dean McKnight (Carolyn) of Greeleyville; three grandchildren, Chesley Timmons (Amber), Melissa Hucks (Dustin), both of Greeleyville and Leslee Smith of Athens, GA; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Lynn McKnight.
