SUMTER - Holmes Nathaniel Smith Jr., 45, husband of Tonia Mallett Smith, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014, from injuries sustained in an automobile wreck.
Born June 15, 1969, in Columbia, he was a son of Frances Smith and the late Holmes Nathaniel Smith Sr. He was an investigator with the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office, and had 19 years of experience in law enforcement.
The family will received friends at the home of his father- and mother-in-law, William "Bill" and Ruth Mallett, 408 W. Boyce St. in Manning.
Services for Holmes Nathaniel Smith Jr. will be announced by Samuels Funeral Home LLC.
