The Laurence Manning Academy B-Team Swampcats football team improved to 6-1 on the season Tuesday night with a 36-6 victory over Orangeburg Prep. Wyatt Rowland had three touchdowns, rushing for 147 yards and passing for 81 yards.
Several other players also scored for the Swampcats, including Shayne Stephens, who had a six-yard touchdown. A.J. Nelson added two scores of seven and 16 yards. Tripp JOye added a two-point conversion reception while Justin Lowder totaled 66 receiving yards. Dalton Huggins had 67 rushing yards on five carries.
The Swampcats return to action 6 p.m. Thursday against Clarendon County at Chitwood Field.
