The LMA varsity volleyball team earned a berth into the state finals Wednesday night, winning against Orangeburg Prep, with scores of 25-19 (W), 25-23 (L), 25-22 (W) and 26-24 (W). Maia Grams had six kills and 15 serve points. Courtney Beatson had 11 kills and 13 blocks and eight serve points. Sara Herbert had 16 kills and eight blocks. Megan Grams had 17 serve points. The team plays 4:45 p.m. Friday against Hammond at the Sumter Exhibition Center.
