The Clarendon County Fire Department held its 6th annual Fire and Life Safety Community Fair Day on Saturday, demonstrating everything from how the fire engine works to how firefighters help other first responders extract the injured from wrecked vehicles. Children also mapped exits from their homes, saw demonstrations of the smoke house and of a helicopter from McLeod Regional Medical Center.
