Barbara McCray, 57, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.
Born March 16, 1957, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Chappell and Irene Wilder McCray. She served as the activities director at Lake Marion Nursing Facility for many years. She was the owner of Chap's Tax Service.
Survivors include a brother, James Frank McCray of Manning; four sisters, Dorothy (Charles) Smith, Eliza (Edward) Becton, Shirley (Michael) Levy and Annie McCray Carr, all of Manning; Anthony Adams, who was like a son to her; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Barbara McCray will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at Manning Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 4343 Greeleyville Highway in Manning, with the funeral discourse by Brother Edward Ross.
Ms. McCray will lie in repose one hour prior to service time.
