A 47-year-old Summerton man told deputies about 12:14 p.m. Oct. 1 that an unknown black male between the ages of 30 and 45 was driving his employer's corn combine about 12:05 p.m. that day. The man said the suspect ran when confronted, and he then noticed the hydraulic hoses had been messed with, causing about $1,000 in damages The machine is used at a farm in Summerton.
