A 19-year-old Pinewood woman was charged 11:34 a.m. Sunday with shoplifting at a store in the 2000 block of Paxville Highway in Manning after a store employee told the Manning Police Department the woman took several items valued at $80 and placed them in her purse.
Police allege the woman took a George purse valued at $18.84; a jar of Amrpo styling gel valued at $4.18; and a sweatshirt valued at $21.97. She then attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.
Video surveillance later showed the woman placing the following items in her purse: Envy human hair valued at $10.47; two packages of Just for Me texture softener valued at $12.94; a mesh hair donut valued at $3.97; a can of Isoplus hair spray valued at $1.74; and a bottle of Argan Oil shampoo valued at $4.98.
