Pet of the Day: Sissy

Posted
Sissy has been a resident of the shelter for quite some time. When she first came to the shelter, she was frightened, severely overweight and unable to walk and could barely stand. Since then she has made much progress. She’s still timid, but very sweet, affectionate and trusting. She truly fits the description of the ideal rescue dog. We’d prefer she go to a home with a fenced yard, no children or other dogs. She’s almost 3 years old and low heart-worm positive, vaccinated up to date, de-wormed and is already spayed. Stop by and meet her in person at A Second Chance Animal Shelter on Alex Harvin Highway in Manning. Call (803) 473- 7075 for more information, or visit www.asecondchanceanimalshelter.com.
