CCSO seeking three sex offenders for registry violations

The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office is actively searching for three registered sex offenders who have failed to update their status with the South Carolina Sex Offender Registry as required by law. Those wanted include Joe Louis Canty, 49, of 1358 Geddings Road in Manning; Robert James Tilton, 25, of 1081 Joliff Court in Manning; and Jermaine Lamont Loadhold, aka Sean Davis, 37, of 1246 St. Marks Road in Pinewood. Canty is wanted for failing to register. He was convicted in April 1981 for first-degree criminal sexual with a minor, for which he was sentenced to 15 years in prison. He has several outstanding charges for failing to register from 2010 and 2011. Tilton is wanted for failing to register, specifically moving without notifying the registry. Sex offenders are required to update their addresses when moving. Tilton was convicted Feb. 13, 2006, of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor who was a 6-year-old boy at the time of the offense. Tilton was released May 31, 2007, his 18th birthday. Loadholt is wanted for failing to register and moving without notification. He was convicted in 2000 for sexual misconduct in New York State, according to court records.
