The East Clarendon Athletic Booster Club will sponsor a Golf Ball Drop on Oct. 17 during halftime at the East Carolina v. Hannah-Pamplico football game, which will also be Senior Night. The balls will be dropped via helicopter onto the practice3 football field, and the closest ball to the flag will win at least $1,000. “We are doing this to raise money for our athletic teams,” said Freddie “Crash” Huth. Golf balls are $10 each, and may be purchased from athletes, students or club members. For more information, call Huth at (843) 495-0741.
