A special gathering of all who have lived, learned, worked and worshiped in Alcolu will be held Oct. 18 at Clarendon Baptist Church’s Family Life Center in Alcolu. Registration and social gathering will begin 2 p.m. in the Family Life Center, and folks will assemble at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary to share memories. The program will feature a video of Alcolu from yesterday to today narrated by Janice Richburg and Russell Harrelson.
