Manning Baptist Temple cordially invites the public to its Homecoming and 38th anniversary services, which will begin 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19, with Pastor William Jeffers speaking and special music by the Jay Stone Singers of Parkton, N.C.
The Jay Stone Singers have performed with other well-known gospel singers at the Singing in the Sun event at Myrtle Beach. Following morning services, the public is invited to join the congregation for Dinner on the Ground, with a performance by the Jay Stone Singers.
A Brush Arbor meeting will continue the celebration at 7 p.m. Oct. 20-21. Bring your lawn chairs and worship as the congregation hears preaching from Evangelist Sean Peters on Monday, with special music from his family; and the Rev. Pete Minor on Tuesday, with special music from the Men of Faith Quartet.
