NEW ZION - Joseph Woods, 93, widower of Charlotte Hampton Woods, died Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 at his home, 1264 Subdivision Road in New Zion.
Born April 12, 1921, in Turbeville, Bruce was a son of the late Stokes and Sarah Ann Player Woods.
Celebratory services for Joseph Woods will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014, at the Hayes F. and LaNelle J. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel in Manning. Burial will follow in Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church cemetery in Turbeville.
The family will receive friends at the home.
