The Laurence Manning Academy varsity volleyball team lost 3-2 Thursday against Thomas Sumter Academy in Sumter.
Courtney Beatson had 14 kills, 11 serve points and four blocks. Sara Herbert had 13 kills and four blocks. Maia Grams had 10 serve points.
Scores were 25-7 (L), 25-23 (W), 25-15 (L), 25-23 (W) and 16-14 (L).
