Flea, tick medicine earns man trip to jail

Three boxes of flea and tick medicine valued at $49.95 each earned a 24-year-old Manning man a day in the Clarendon County Detention Center. Antonio Travis Pittman of 115 Breedin St. was arrested about 4:51 p.m. Aug. 10 at a store in the 2000 block of Paxville Highway after a store emplyee told police Pittman had placed three packages of Advantage II flea and tick medicine in his jacket and attempted to leave the store without paying for them. According to reports, Pittman offered to pay for the items Aug. 16, if allowed.
