The Laurence Manning Academy B-Team Football team improved to 3-0 on the season Thursday with a 56-14 victory over Heathwood Hall. Wyatt Rowland scored on runs of 60 and 23 yards in the first quarter of play. In the second quarter, Bennett Stephens scored on a 28-yard run and Trey Sharpe scored on a run of 12 yards.
In the third quarter, A.J. Nelson scored on a 32 yard run and Henry Black scored on runs of 23 and 52 yards. In the fourth quarter, Still McIntosh scored on a three-yard pass from A.J. Nelson.
Wyatt Rowland, Keaton Wildes, A.J. Nelson, Tripp Joye, Justin Lowder and Brady Berry all scored two-point conversions toward the win for the Swampcats.
Laurence Manning returns to action next Thursday against Wilson Hall in Sumter.
