Central Carolina Technical College celebrated 12 graduates during commencement ceremonies in August who received diplomas in practical nursing. The Diploma in Practical Nursing (PN) program is designed to provide a sound educational background to those individuals interested in providing direct patient care. The practical nurse functions under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or licensed dentist. The 12 graduates, in alphabetical order, included Kelly Nicole Barfield, Rayanne Noel Beavers, Tyra Shara Jackson, Christie Nichole Johnson, Ashley Ann Pelletier, Shanel Temilola Robinson, Shenika Nicole Smiling, Monica Lashan Spann, Margaret Elizabeth Stafford, Marissa Ann Stukes, Tammela Marie Tyson and Jessica Rene Waninger.
