Women of Main Street: Taurice Collins

Posted
EDITOR’S NOTE: Taurice Collins, co-owner of Clarendon Clean Cars and Boats, is one of nearly 100 local businesswomen who will be recognized Sept. 23 during Main Street Manning’s annual meeting. The Manning Times will be featuring a few of these women each week throughout September in The Manning Times, and posting stories daily on manninglive.com. Taurice Collins grew up in upstate New York in a business-oriented family. She’s currently in school studying business administration and business law, and says she draws inspiration from her mother and husband, Sam. “My mother was always working, and Sam always keeps going and is always motivated,” Collins said. Collins said Clarendon Clean Cars and Boats “provides service to those who care about the value of their transportation and recreational items, such as boats, ETVS, etc.” “The look of satisfaction on customers’ faces makes our line of work enjoyable,” Collins said. “No one does it like Clarendon Clean Cars and Boats. If we’re not washing your car, it’s probably not clean. That’s our slogan.” Collins said she and her husband hope to expand in Clarendon County. “We’d like to provide services all year other than full details,” she said.
