After nine years of working with folks’ hair, Savanna Epps Welch opened her own shop in March.
“What I enjoy the most about my job is not only giving someone great hair, but also knowing that, at the end of the day, they are not just my clients, but have become like family.”
Welch says High Maintenance is currently a “single-chair salon.”
“But my plans for the future are to grow into a three- to four-chair salon,” she said. “My greatest inspiration is going to hair shows and classes and being surrounded by people that share the same passion for hair as I do!”
