Tammy Brown, 45, was charged with two counts of felony DUI early Sunday morning after allegedly causing a vehicle wreck about 11:55 p.m. Saturday on S.C. 261 near Boyd Road in Manning that killed a 34-year-old Manning man and sent another to a Florence hospital. According to the S.C. Highway Patrol, Brown was driving a 1999 Hyundai behind the deceased driver's 1994 Dodge Dakota when she struck the truck in the back, causing the truck to run off the road and strike a tree. Sgt. Bob Beres said neither Brown nor the two occupants of the Dakota were wearing seatbelts. Brown was transported to Clarendon Memorial Hospital, while a passenger in the deceased's vehicle was airlifted to McLeod in Florence. Information on the driver who died has not been released.
