Arlena Wilson Spann, devoted wife of 62 years to Willie Lee Spann Jr., died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Clarendon Memorial Hospital.
Born Nov. 30, 19326, in Bordeau, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Rev. James Maylon and Willie Mae Tucker Wilson.
Survivors include a number of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at the home, 200 Collins St. in Manning.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today in the chapel of Fleming and DeLaine Funeral Home.
A service of remembrance for Arlena Wilson Spann will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at Friendship AME Church, 6156 Furse Road in Pinewood, with the Rev. Albert L. Thompson, pastor, bringing words of consolation. Burial will follow in the church cemeter.
