LAKE CITY - JoAnne Bingham Floyd, 69, widow of William Delbert Floyd, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, after an illness.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the church.

Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Kirby Bingham and Willa Rhea Moore Bingham. She was a retired seamstress and a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by  two sisters, Margaret B. Smith and Emma Rhea Tedder; and a brother-in-law, Roosevelt Tedder.

Survivors include two sons, Bert Floyd (Lisa) and Del Floyd (Lasha), both of Lake City; a sister, Grace Watts (Wyman) of Mayesville; a brother-in-law, Walter Smith; four grandchildren, Caleb, Ally, Kirbi and Jesse Floyd; and two special friends, Mary Epps and Anthony Fabiano.
