Mr. and Mrs. Terry Alan Blackmon of New Zion are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Leslie Erin Blackmon to Thomas Edward Stelling, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Stelling of Charleston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. William McKinley “Billy” Blackmon and Mrs. Miriam Morris Blackmon of New Zion, and the late Mr. Hubert Lindberg Driggers and Mrs. Virginia Welch Driggers of Turbeville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. Ernest Louis Stelling, Sr. and Mrs. Jonnie Orr Stelling of Charleston and the late Mr. George Washington Settles and Mrs. Ruth Cabell Settles of Charleston.
The bride-elect attended Francis Marion University and later received her doctorate of pharmacy from The Medical University of South Carolina and a master of business administration degree from The Citadel Graduate College. She is employed by Bi-Lo Holdings as a pharmacy manager.
The groom-elect attended The Citadel and received a bachelor of science in civil engineering. He is employed at CEMS Engineering as a Civil Engineer.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 13, 2014, at Summerall Chapel at The Citadel in Charleston.
