The Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony this afternoon to celebrate the opening of a new business.
"It's truly a pleasure to welcome you," Mayor Julia Nelson told Allisia Robinson as her family members and friends gathered around.
Robinson, who was born and raised in Clarendon County, said her business -- Bubbles and Bottles -- can provide event planning and catering services for weddings, church events, birthdays, receptions and any other occasion. "You name it, I can do it,"she said. "The Lord has truly blessed me."
Robinson is also organizing the Manning Community Festival, slated for 2 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 31 at J.C. Britton Park.
