Funeral services for Julia McCray Richburg, who was allegedly shot and killed by her husband Johnnie Lee Richburg Sr. at their home on Poston Lane late Saturday evening, will be held 4 p.m. Friday at Mt. Zero Missionary Baptist Church on Paxville Highway in Manning.

Richburg was declared dead at the scene from "multiple gunshot wounds," said the Clarendon County Coroner's Office. Richburg was charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a weapon by someone convicted of a violent felony. He had two prior convictions for assault and battery in the late 1970s and 1980s, but details are not available for those incidents from the Manning Police Department.

Richburg was denied bond Monday and remains at the Clarendon County Detention Center.
