The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office arrested two Manning men early Monday morning after a 29-year-old Gable man told deputies he was robbed at gunpoint and transported from a home in Meagan Lane and taken to Auburn Drive about a half-mile away. Michael Dashaun Ledwell, 20, and Larry Wade Rose, 22, both of 1474 Meagan Lane in Manning, were charged with armed robbery and granted $25,000 cash or surety bonds earlier today. Neither had posted bond by 1:15 p.m. today. Deputies responded to a store in the 3700 block of Greeleyville Highway where the victim told them he had been visiting the suspects' home on Meagan Lane when a hooded suspect later said to be Rose got out and put a gun to the victim's head and told him to drive toward S.C. 261 without his lights on. The suspects demanded the victim's money close to Auburn Drive about four minutes away. The victim later noticed a cell phone left in his car, and deputies spotted Ledwell with a gas can near the store. Rose was laying in the passenger seat of another vehicle when he was found. Both suspects admitted to the robbery, according to reports.
