Two teens were arrested early Monday morning after allegedly breaking into Lamar's Country Corner on S.C. 261. According to a report from the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office, Marcus Shane Bishop, 18, of 1399 Camp Harmony Road in Manning, and Uriah Nicholas Cochran, 18, of 106 Asbury Kneece Lane in Pelion, broke into the store before about 2:42 a.m. Monday. Deputies reported the store's alarm went off about that time, and they met owner Lamar Kennedy there. Surveillance video showed one black and one white male walking around the parking lot. The duo "attempted to force entry into the business by kicking, ramming and snatching the handle of the front door following several unsuccessful attempts," according to reports. Nothing was reportedly stolen from the business. The men were found at the parking lot of T's Express and positively identified by Sgt. Linda M. Smith. They are currently being held at the Clarendon County Detention Center for warrants.
